Finbarrs record deserved victory to stay top of Division Three
Naomh Fionnbarra got the better of Stabannon on Friday night by 1-11 to 0-7 to stay at the top of Division 3.

Naomh Fionnbarra got the better of Stabannon on Friday night by 1-11 to 0-7 to stay at the top of Division 3.

Stabannon started brightly and were two points up through points from Thomas McBride and Sean Halpenny, until Naomh Fionnbarra got their first point after ten minutes.

Stabannon extended their lead to two points after 15 minutes with a point from Colm Giggins, but it was to be their last point of the half as Naomh Fionnbarra took complete control and recorded four points before half time, to lead 0-5 to 0-3.

Both teams exchanged points for the remainder of the game as Naomh Fionnbarra held out for a deserved victory.
