The Louth team to face the All-Ireland Senior Football Champions, Dublin, in Sunday’s Leinster Senior Football Championship Quarter-Final has been announced.

Louth manager Peter Fitzpatrick has opted to make one change to the Louth XV to face Dublin, from the team that started the opening round victory over Westmeath in Navan. St Patricks’ Dessie Finnegan, who missed the win over the Lake County as he was honeymooning, returns to take up his full back berth with Liam Shevlin making way. Otherwise, ‘Fitzer’ has a full deck to play from with Declan Byrne and Jamie Carr both shaking off niggling injuries to face the defending Leinster and All-Ireland Football Champions.

The starting 15 is as follows:

NEIL GALLAGHER (Cooley Kickhams)

PADRAIG RATH (Dreadnots)

DESSIE FINNEGAN (St Patricks)

GERARD HOEY (Geraldines)

RAY FINNEGAN (St Patricks)

JAMIE CARR (Newtown Blues)

DECLAN BYRNE (St Mochtas)

PADDY KEENAN (St Patricks)

MARK BRENNAN (St Sylvesters, Dublin)

ADRIAN REID (Mattock Rangers)

DEREK MAGUIRE (Dundalk Young Irelands)
