When newly engaged couples set out to plan their big day, one of the first decisions they have to make is where to celebrate it
Yes, there are many big decisions to be made when it comes to a wedding but it’s fair to say there are few bigger than selecting the venue.
Luckily this area has had many top quality venues to choose from down through the years but now there is a new venue available for brides to consider for their big day.
Cluskey’s of Little Ash, Knockbridge – on the main Dundalk to Carrickmacross Road – has been well regarded for its fabulous food and bar for years but now it is hosting weddings as well.
On Saturday June 23rd it held its second ever wedding reception when the newlywed Donna and Garry Connolly celebrated their big day there. The couple, from Magheracloone in Co Monaghan and Dundalk, enjoyed a day to remember at Cluskey’s and the day was such a big hit that invited guests continue to talk about it.
Under the guidance of highly regarded chef Vincent Byrne, who took over the running of Cluskey’s a year ago this month, Cluskey’s has gone from strength to strength and can now be considered a viable alternative for an intimate gathering.
Cluskeys facilities for guests include a spacious sun room and fine cuisine.
All bedrooms are beautifully decorated, all with ensuite bathroom, direct dial telephone (internet phone access) television and tea/coffee facilities. Hairdriers and trouser press facilities are also available in each room.
A wide selection of room types are on offer catering for single, double, triple and family occupancies.
The flexible staff at the guesthouse would be happy to cater any package to suit your needs.
