LOCAL Celtic spiritual teacher and author Dolores Whelan is set to appear on the popular RTE programme Nationwide on March 5 at 7pm.

The show will feature an interview with Dolores at her home in Ravensdale, Dundalk, which sees her speak about her life and work and the importance of connecting with our Celtic heritage.

Some of her recent work includes the release of a Celtic Calendar developed in conjunction with US artist Cynthia Matyi and launched at the Irish Books, Arts & Music festival in Chicago last November.

According to Dolores, the perpetual Celtic calendar and Dolores’s book ‘Ever Ancient, Ever New – Celtic Spirituality in the 21st Century’, have received a “very positive reaction in both Ireland and the US”.

Dolores has also produced a a spoken-word CD entitled ‘A Journey Through the Celtic Year’. She recently launched an updated website.

For more information log onto www.doloreswhelan.ie for upcoming events, information on the Celtic tradition, and to read Dolores’s blog.

Dolores believes the interest in Celtic spirituality is becoming stronger as Irish people and those with Irish connections seek to explore their spiritual roots.

If you would like to see Dolores discuss these ideas and her own journey within the Celtic spiritual tradition tune in to Nationwide on RTE ONE on Monday, March 5 at 7pm.
