The ‘Do Not Swim’ notice at Seapoint Beach has been lifted

The ‘Do Not Swim’ notice at Seapoint Beach has been lifted.

Bathers had been advised not to swim after a sample taken on 23rd July had shown elevated levels of Ecoli.

It’s believed the elevated levels may have been due to poor weather conditions. 

A further sample taken on 25th July has now shown the water quality to be within the ‘excellent’ range.
