Sanctuary Runners is coming to Dundalk

Sanctuary Runners, a solidarity-through-sport initiative is coming soon to Dundalk.

The initiative is aimed at promoting community integration by bringing international communities including refugees and asylum seekers, and long term residents together - to walk, jog or run in friendship and respect.

The groups usually meet every two weeks and organisers say everyone is welcome.

Sanctuary Runners is currently looking for group organisers, and they say it is up to those who would like to be a group organiser, to decide how much time they can give.

“Any time is appreciated”, they say. “You don't have to attend every run/walk. Although, we find our group organisers usually end up enjoying it so much, they don't miss it! “
