Plans are underway to construct new homes at the sites of AB Motors and Kettles Engineering in Dundalk
Plans for a new housing development at Seatown in Dundalk are underway with a planning application lodged with the local planning authority.
MWAC Ireland Ltd has applied to Louth County Council for planning permission for the development on the site of AB Motors and Kettles Engineering, Seatown, Dundalk.
Planning permission is being sought for the demolition of existing workshop and garage on the site, and the construction of seven new homes.
The proposed new homes comprise one duplex unit to the front of the site, consisting of one ground floor, two-bed unit and one first floor, two-bed unit, along with three, three-bed terrace units and two, three-bed semi-detached units to the rear of the site.
The planning application also provides for the alteration to existing site entrance and all associated site development works.
A decision is due on the application, which is at a pre-validation stage, by 14 September, with submissions due by 24 August.
