Traffic disrupted after M1 crash in Louth

The incident, involving two vehicles, occurred at approximately 6:45pm.

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a road traffic collision on the M1 near Haynestown, Dundalk, on Wednesday evening.

The incident, involving two vehicles, occurred at approximately 6:45pm.

Traffic was reported to be at a standstill for a time while emergency services responded.

A woman in her 30s was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda with injuries believed to be non-life threatening.
