Popular Dundalk coffee shop to close

The owners of popular local Cafe Coffee Corner on Dublin Street in Dundalk have announced that they will be closing at the end of the month due to “rising costs and inconsistent sales.” 

After being open for two years Olive and Carina have said they have “made the very difficult decision to close Coffee Corner at the end of this month!”

Writing on Facebook the owners said: 

“This fantastic journey wouldn't have been possible without you! However, after sincere thought and consideration ,we've decided to set our sights on new goals and are closing the business.

“Thank you all for your support and custom over the last nearly three years..We will miss the daily chats with our regulars on Dublin Street dearly.

“One of the highlights of our journey has been meeting new people living in or visiting our lovely town of Dundalk.

“Thank you to everyone who has worked with us,especially Alannah over the last changeable year.

“Thanks also to our families and friends for their support and love.”
