De La Salle College Dundalk take part in School Golf Classic
A fantastic day was had at the De La Salle College Dundalk, School Golf Classic held in the beautiful Ballymascanlon Hotel & Golf Resort on Friday.
The school is incredibly grateful for the amazing support shown by everyone who attended, sponsored, organised, and contributed to making the event such a success.
The Golf Classic continues to be a hugely important fundraiser for the school, and the generosity and community spirit on display throughout the day were truly appreciated.
Congratulations to this year’s winning team - Simon O'Shea, Timmy Connolly, Josh O'Hare, and Josh Spaight - led by Mr O'Shea, whose team finally claimed the top spot with an outstanding score of 91 points.
There was fierce competition throughout the day, with second and third place separated only by a countback after both teams finished on 90 points.
Second place: Aidan McCoy, Paul McCusker, Colm Holmes, and Aidan McArdle, third place: Senan Duffy, Jack Duffy, and Thomas O'Connell.
Special congratulations also to our individual prize winners: Men’s Longest Drive – Senan Duffy; Ladies’ Longest Drive – Katie Rowland; Nearest the Pin – Jack Duffy (just 1 foot away)
A sincere thank you to all of our sponsors, staff, volunteers, and supporters whose contributions helped make the event possible. Your continued support means so much to their school community.
