Week five of the Dundalk Golf Club Precision Cables Winter League was cancelled due to the icy conditions that prevailed over the weekend of January 9 to 11.

But the 14 Hole singles competition that runs alongside the Winter League went ahead with 84 players bracing the difficult conditions.

Division 4 produced the best individual score as Paul Martin (19) had a superb score of 42 points to take that category.

Next best was Conor Murray (8) in Division 1 with 39pts, while Eamonn McEneaney (11) and Graham Purcell (14) both shot 37pts on their way to respectively winning Divisions 2 and 3.

Division 1: Conor Murray (8) 39pts. Division 2: Eamon McEneaney (11) 37pts. Division 3: Graham Purcell (14) 37pts. Division 4: Paul Martin (19) 42pts.

Week 2 Ladies Spring League 2026 played Saturday, 17th January and Tuesday, 20th
January 2026

Overall Winner: Martina Byrne (30) 35pts; Division 1 (Handicap Indexes up to 16.7) - Katie Rowland 31pts (04) Division 1 – Winner.

Division 2 (Handicap Indexes 16.8 to 24.4); Judy McDonough 31pts (18) Division 2 – Winner; Margaret McCourt 29pts (20). Division 2 - Runner-Up Last Nine Holes.

Division 3 (Handicap Indexes 24.5 to 33.1) Joanne Lynch 34 pts (25) Division 3 – Winner; Ciara McGinnity 31pts (22) Division 3 – Runner-Up. Division 4 (Handicap Indexes 33.2 and above) Joanne Moran 28 pts (31) Division 4 – Winner
