Aaron Callan or AC as he was known to his many friends, had thrown darts for a number of years for the Commercial Club and was always an opponent to fear at the oche.
The qualifying games were played last Thursday night in four venues and qualifying for the Finals Night are The Bodhran, Corbetts Craicheads, The Commercial and Big House Eagles.
The draw for fixtures will be made on the night and there's sure to be a great crowd in attendance for this Finals Night. Big thanks to The Northend Bar, The Bodhran, Corbetts Bar and The Big House for hosting the qualifying night.
All money donated by the players & the publicans from the Memorial Cup will be donated to the chosen charity of Aaron Callan's family. They have chosen The Birches Alzheimer's Day Centre.
