Dundalk and District League set for an exciting 2025 season

The Dundalk and District League held its general meeting on Monday, 24th February to confirm plans for the upcoming 2025 season.

Six teams will battle it out this year, with Muirhevnamor FC, St. Dominics, Rampart Celtic, Carlingford Celtic, Carrick Rovers, and Haynestown Celtic all set to compete. The league is expected to kick-off around April 22.

Teams will compete across three competitions which include the Fyffes Premier League, the Jimmy Clancy Cup, and the FastFix McConville Cup.

League committee members are Robbie Rafferty snr, Robbie Rafferty, Gussie Hearty, Damien Bellew, Ciarán Caldwell, Niall McDonagh, Brendan Scullen, and Joe Mellon, are gearing up for another action-packed season.

The committee are actively seeking additional teams for the season ahead and will accept applications from new clubs or teams up until Friday, 28th March. For more information on entering a team email admin@dund.ie of message their Facebook page directly.
