Gardaí carry out patrols on Drogheda-Dundalk rail line

Community Gardaí joined by new probationer Gardaí as part of ongoing rail safety operation
Gardaí in Louth have carried out patrols along the Drogheda-Dundalk rail line as part of Operation RailSafe, an ongoing initiative aimed at tackling antisocial behaviour and enhancing public safety on the rail network.
Members of the Drogheda Community Policing team were joined by newly appointed probationer Gardaí Dion Hughes and Tommy Taylor for the patrol.
Operation RailSafe is an ongoing Garda operation focused on maintaining safety on Ireland's rail network, with Gardaí continuing to work to prevent incidents of antisocial behaviour and ensure passengers can travel safely.
Gardaí say the patrols will continue as part of their efforts to support public safety across the region.
