A vehicle fleeing Gardaí in Dublin was brought to a stop in Louth shortly after 5:30am on Monday morning (2nd March), sparking a managed operation that briefly affected M1 traffic near Castlebellingham and Dundalk.
Shortly after 4:30am a car with three occupants failed to stop for Gardaí in the Whitehall area of Dublin 9.
A lengthy managed containment operation began and the car was successfully intercepted in Louth shortly after 5:30am.
Three individuals, all male and in their teens were arrested under the Road Traffic Acts and brought to a Garda Station in the Dublin Region.

Traffic on the M1 motorway was affected for a time. Gardai say there were no injuries reported and investigations are ongoing.
