Louth Gardai say they are investigating the circumstances of an assault in Dunleer that was circulating on social media yesterday evening.
Gardaí say they received a report of a man being assaulted at Main Street, Dunleer, Co Louth, sometime between 6:45pm and 7:05pm on Saturday 10th January.
The man, aged in his 20s, did not require medical attention at the time.
Gardai say investigations are ongoing.
