Man arrested in connection with fatal Louth collision released

A garda spokesperson confirmed that investigations are ongoing

A man in his 20s arrested in connection with the investigation into a fatal two-vehicle road traffic collision involving a van and a motorcycle at James Street, Drogheda, on 29th August has been released from detention under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.

Gardai say a file will now be prepared for the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.

A garda spokesperson confirmed that investigations are ongoing.
