Men charged in connection to fire at IPAS centre in Louth

Two men, both in their 20s, who were arrested in connection with this investigation into the fire at a IPAS centre in Drogheda, Co Louth on Friday, 31st October, have been charged.

They were due to appear before a special sitting of Drogheda District Court last night (Thursday).

A male, aged in his 20’s, was arrested in Co. Louth on Wednesday night, 5th November 2025, for alleged offences under the Criminal Damage Act 1991. 

The next morning, Thursday 6th November 2025, a second male, also aged in his 20s.  was arrested for alleged offences under the Criminal Damage Act 1991.

Both were chaged and appeared in court last night.
