Arrest made in Louth burglary probe

Gardaí confirmed that their investigations are continuing

Gardaí investigating a series of burglaries across several counties, including Louth, have arrested and charged a man in connection with the incidents.

The man, who is in his 30s, was arrested on Wednesday, 10 September, as part of ongoing investigations into burglaries reported in Cavan, Monaghan, Louth and Sligo. He was detained under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007 at a Garda station in the North Western Region.

The man has since been charged and was due to appear before Cavan District Court this morning, Friday, 12 September.

Gardaí confirmed that their investigations are continuing.
