His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Gardaí are investigating an incident in Dundalk after a man was discovered with injuries on Clanbrassil Street in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
At around 2:00am on 8th July, Gardaí on patrol observed a man in his 20s with who as injured.
The man was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda for treatment.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
A Garda spokesperson confirmed that investigations into the circumstances of the incident are ongoing.
