A routine patrol by the Dundalk Roads Policing Unit uncovered a series of serious driving offenses in Dundalk town centre.

The incident began when officers observed the driver of a car not wearing a seatbelt. Upon stopping the vehicle for further checks, they uncovered that the driver did not possess a valid driver’s license or insurance.

Additionally, the vehicle itself was found to be untaxed.

As a result, the car was seized on the spot under road traffic legislation. The driver now faces prosecution.
