Plans are underway for the renovation and expansion of a mobile home park in Omeath in north Louth, with a planning application lodged with the local planning authority in recent days.
Harry Farrell & Sons have applied to Louth County Council for planning permission for the development at The Lough Holiday Park, Knocknagoran, Omeath.
They are seeking the go ahead for the renovation and extension to the existing mobile home park to include provision for the erection of 25 new mobile homes, and the replacement and relocation of 15 mobile homes previously granted under a previous planning permission.
They are also seeking the retention for the replacement and relocation of 42 mobile homes previously granted under a previous planning permission application.
The application also provides for all associated services and infrastructure, waste water storage facility, pumping station, and connection to the existing foul drain.
A decision is due on the application, which is at a pre-validation stage, by 2 November, with submissions due by 12 October.
