Woman taken to hospital following alleged assault in Louth

Gardaí are investigating an alleged assault which occurred in Louth in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The incident was reported at Old Quay Lane, Carlingford, at around 1:00am on Sunday, 26th April.

A woman in her 20s was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries following the incident.
