Popular local bar Mo Chara is flying the flag for Dundalk after being nominated in three major categories at this year’s Irish Bar of the Year Awards. The spot has been shortlisted for Craft Bar of the Year, Innovative Bar of the Year, and Local Bar of the Year.
With over 1000 entries, this year’s Bar of the Year Awards has attracted more submissions than ever before, with organisers saying, "making the judges’ task incredibly challenging as the competition reached new heights.
"After thorough and intense deliberations, only the finest bars have earned their place as finalists. Following months of meticulous evaluation and an exhaustive search for the most outstanding venues, we are delighted to present the very best, the crème de la crème of the bar industry.
"We are excited to honor the exceptional talents and extraordinary venues chosen as finalists for The Bar of the Year Awards.
"These trailblazers have continually elevated the industry, creating unforgettable experiences and setting new standards of excellence. We eagerly anticipate celebrating their achievements at the forthcoming awards ceremony.
