Dundalk will be holding it annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Sunday 17th March 2013.
This year’s event promises to be bigger and better than previous years and all things green will be celebrated.
The parade is the main event with live entertainment, music, market and other family activities taking place at the Market Square and through out the town.
These celebrations will also remind us what a great place Dundalk is to live, work, visit and invest in.
This year’s Grand Marshall for Dundalk’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade is local comedian Oliver Callan who’s witty parody on Dundalk has had over 100,000 views on YouTube.
The parade will commence at 1pm at Patrick Street before turning right onto Clanbrassil Street in the traditional manner and there will be plenty of family activities and entertainment taking place after so a great day will be had by all.
In this year’s parade there will be a wider range of cultures and community groups welcomed into the mix and the green feeling will be taking over again this year with a little bit of the leprechauns luck being spread to all around our magical town.
