Fashion lovers were in fashion heaven as they spent a stylish evening in the Lisdoo soaking up the latest in fashion design. ‘One of the best fashion shows ever experienced in Louth’, was quoted for Rape Crisis North East beautiful couture runway fashion show which took place on 1st April 2011 in the Lisdoo.
Sponsored by Dundalk Stadium, and compered superbly by Mona Daly, the event attracted the participation of some of the most creative makeup artists by Mise, trend setting hair stylists by Mizu and stunning runway models. 250 people attended the fashion show last Friday night.
“Being part of the fashion show was great”, said Bernie, owner manager of Butterflyz and Angelz who presented her unique collection of wedding attire for brides-to-be, brides maids, mother of the bride, flower girls and page boys. Butterflyz and Angelz not only ended the show with a vast array of exquisite and finely tailored wedding dress collection, they were also responsible for creating a relaxed environment for fashionistas to enjoy a top-of-the-line runway with their charming Victorian style candelabra’s, lanterns, fairy lights and bay leaf trees all available for hire, transforming the room into a professional and stunning fashion show venue.
“This is a positive event for Rape Crisis North East as not only did we raise much needed funding to support clients who need our services but it was also a fantastic opportunity to reach out and raise awareness of Rape and Sexual Violence to such a diverse range of people from all walkways of society,” quoted Grace Manager of Rape Crisis North East.
