Irish language act Dysania, made up of members from across Co Monaghan and Louth (with Drummer Cian O’Connor hailing from Dundalk, return with their new album, An Lá Ba. The 8 track album will be available on all major streaming platforms this Friday, May 23rd, 2025.

"An Lá Ba" is a coming of age album, which the group say is their effort to encapsulate the essence of adolescence in contemporary Ireland.

“Using this lens, we reflect on Ireland in its post-colonial hangover, with a focus on mental health, cost of living and housing. Using Irish traditional instrumentation, and our native language, we have forged our own style that has been compared to other popular Irish artists such as The Waterboys, The Pogues, & The Horslips,” they said.

The album was recorded and mixed in Cheathrú Rua and then mastered by Ivan Jackman in Hellfire Studios Dublin.

The first single, Spéirling, was released last November, with a music video following on May 17th 2025. The second single, Evelyn, was released on May 1st.
