Dundalk FC will welcome Wexford’s North End United in the quarter-finals of this season’s Leinster Senior Cup after topping Group B in impressive fashion which earns a home time in the last eight.
Ciarán Kilduff’s side secured their place in the last eight with dominant 4-0 wins over Malahide United and Shamrock Rovers, with a narrow 2-1 defeat to Usher Celtic proving only a minor setback.
Their opponents, North End United who progressed as runners-up in Group D and edged through on goal difference after a strong campaign.
They defeated Wexford FC and Bohemians but lost out to UCD to finish level on six points with both sides but advance thanks to a superior goal difference.
St. Patrick’s Athletic or Athlone Town v Drogheda United.
Dundalk FC v North End United.
St. Mochtas v St. Patrick’s Athletic, Athlone Town or Bray Wanderers.
Bohemian FC v Usher Celtic.
Dates and venues for these fixtures will be announced in due course.
