The 2026 hurling charity game for cancer research was a huge success

The 2026 Hurling for Cancer Research did not disappoint in raising funds for cancer research with a fun filled day.

There were plenty of goals and lots of craic along the way as teams compiled by Davy Russell and Jim Bolger took to the field at Carlow’s Netwatch Cullen Park to raise funds for charity.

Davy Russell’s selection came out on top with a rare defeat on the pitch for Hayes and company, however, the big winners were the charities that benefitted from the wonderful occasion, according to Limerick Leader.
