drop2shop delivery service expands network to Louth

Parcel delivery service drop2shop has expanded its network into Co. Louth, after passing 1,000 parcel shop locations across Ireland with a projected 1,200 by the end of the month.
drop2shop has expanded to Louth as the network passes 1,000 parcel shop locations.
This expansion follows a partnership with online marketplace Vinted, where customers buying and selling via Vinted can can use drop2shop’s growing network to send and receive parcels throughout the Republic of Ireland.
Drop2shop is owned and operated by Coll-8, an independent customs clearance and logistics specialist.
Dave Field, CEO at Coll‑8, said: “Reaching a milestone of 1,000 drop2shop locations and expanding into Louth is a significant step forward for our business, as we continue to invest in our infrastructure and expand customer choice to enable greater convenience for both our consumers and retailers.”
Coll-8 and drop2shop have expanded rapidly this year, opening a brand-new €15m logistics centre at Dublin’s Airport Business Park in May to create 150 jobs over the next 12 months in a further boost to the local economy.
Field said: “Alongside the opening of our new Dublin logistics hub, this latest investment strengthens our ability to scale, making it even easier for customers to send and receive parcels, as well as reinforcing Ireland’s position as a strategic gateway for trade both domestically and internationally.”
