Quad racing in Dundalk

The cream of Ireland’s top motocross adult and quad riders will all head to Dundalk this Sunday, 4 May to compete in the under 21, under 25, over 35, veteran and quad motocross championship at Dundalk Motopark, Kilcurry.

There is a new format to the championship for the 2014 season which allows both quad and adult riders to complete on the one day, giving spectators plenty of fun filled action.

The event will feature kids from 13 years old on quad bikes to adults as old as 70 on solo bikes all set to battle bar to bar with in eight different Southern Centre grades gunning for points. At the end of the season each and every point gained by the rider throughout the championship will be vital in crowning the overall winner.

Dundalk Motopark offers excellent spectator parking and facilities and is one of the first purpose built Supercross tracks, in Ireland.

Racing starts at the Kilcurry circuit at 11am. Admission is €5 for adults and under 12s free.
