Acoustic folk rock band Hermitage Green will visit the Spirit Store as part of their Irish tour this Friday, 3 May.

The five piece have spent the last couple of years touring relentlessly, winning over legions of fans and selling out shows in Ireland, the UK and Australia. Incendiary live performances and a curious arrangement of instruments help give Hermitage Green their distinctive live sound.

The band formed in July 2010 in what started out as a spontaneous jam session between friends and soon developed in to a strong acoustic outfit with an original sound for which the band have credited their contrasting musical tastes.

They released their debut EP, ‘The Gathering’ in September 2012 which rocketed straight into number 1 in the iTunes chart. The band followed this success with tours of France, the UK, the Middle East, South Africa and the US. Their sold-out extensive Australian tour featured many highlights, including playing Sydney Harbour on Australia Day.

The band’s next album ‘Live At Whelans’ was recorded at their sold out shows in Whelans last October.

The band’s Irish tour has already taken them to Thurles, Kilkenny, Ennis, Dublin and Galway and after Dundalk they will hit Limerick and Wexford.

Don’t miss out on seeing some great Irish talent and get your tickets priced at €13.50 now.

You can purchase tickets online at, from the venue itself or from McAteers Food House on Clanbrassil Street. Doors open at 8pm.
