McCaffrey’s men on show this Saturday

Dundalk fans will get their first opportunity to see Sean McCaffrey’s new look side in action when the Lilywhites play their first pre-season friendly of the year when they take on Banbridge Town at Crystal Park on Saturday, February 11 at 2pm.
McCaffrey is set to give supporters a first viewing of new signings John Mountney, Ger Hanley, Derek Foran, Chris Shields, Shane O’Neill and Gary Shanahan while Liam Burns is also expected to make his return in a white shirt.
Dundalk played Banbridge last season with Ian Foster’s side running out 7-0 winners in a game played during the mid-seaosn break.
Banbridge currently lie bottom of IFA Championship 1, where Ballinamallard United and Newry City also ply their trade.
Dundalk face Ballinamallard at Ferney Park next Tuesday while a cross-border cup against Newry has been set for The Showgrounds on Sunday 26 February.
McCaffrey’s men also meet Drogheda United in the Malone Cup next Thursday and Finn Harps at Oriel Park on Sunday week.
