The Manchester Marathon on Sunday last saw Maurice McMahon conquering the 26.2 distance in a new personal best time of 2 hours 43.04 minutes.
St Peter’s athletes on school duty
The North Leinster Schools’ Championships were staged on Wednesday and Friday last week at the Morton Stadium in Santry, Dublin, and athletes from St Peter’s AC were well to the fore. Representing their secondary schools, they won a most impressive total of nine gold, one silver and four bronze medals.
Over 550 turn out for Kelly 5k
The second running of the Patsy Kelly 5k Road Race took place on Saturday last when over 550 walkers, joggers and runners took to the streets of Dundalk to remember the former North East Runners and Clan na Gael member.

Joan Corrigan emerged the overall winner of the Rawson Cup stroke play competition played on Saturday April 13 and Tuesday April 16 at Dundalk Ladies Golf Club. This competition was also a Golfer of the Year and Medal qualifier.
