Ladies Mini Marathon

The Flora Ladies Mini-Marathon takes place on Monday 3rd June 2013 in Dublin.

Entry forms available in the Evening Herald on Wednesdays and Saturdays or online from http://www.florawomensminimarathon.ie/.

Shelagh Youth Club

Congratulations to all the cast of our recent production of Snow White, it was a very enjoyable show. Over 20 Children took part under the direction of Ms Caireen McPhillips. Thanks to all who attended to support the children, to committee members and parents for their help in preparation for the evening. Many thanks also to Shane O’Neill, O’Neills Cost Cutter for sponsoring 2 hampers for a raffle on the night. The drama will take a break now until after the Easter Break.

Art - Tuesdays at 6.30pm Dancing- Thursdays at 6.30pm. Friday Night Club for over 9s. The most recent evening included a visit from Clay Modelling Artist, Louise Swords. Over 20 children attend the over 9s club every 2nd Friday Night. For more information contact Blinne 087-8102971.

New members are always welcome in the club. The club will close for the Easter School holidays

Fund Raising cycle

Naomh Malachi are taking part in a four counties 100km sponsered cycle in order to raise funds for the club.It is due to commence at Courtbane on Sunday 2nd June .It will pass through counties Louth ,Monaghan,Meath and finally finishing up in Dublin at the Oiver Plunketts/Eoghan Ruadh GFC.There are over 40 members already signed up to take part in this ambitious event and training will commence shortly.Anyone interested in joining them,or for further details, can contact Joey or Ronan on 0876777171 or 0876445490 respectively.Participating members will be supplied with their sponsership cards over the next week.This will be our major fund raising event for this year so please support genorously.The Oliver plunketts/Eoghan Ruadh club will also complete the journey starting at their end on the 16th of June after which there will be entertainment in the Malachis clubrooms.

Naomh Malachi were defeated in their refixed Paddy Sheelan Cup match against kilkerly on Sunday 7th April.Final score Naomh Malachi 1-6 Na Piarsagh 1-13.

New Gym opens

The new Gym has opened in the last week and will be a great asset to the club.This state of the art facility comes complete with a variety of weight lifting facilities and cardio equipment, and also has adjacent tiolet and shower facilities.Well done to all involved in this project .It will certainly be of great benefit to all our teams in the future.The gym will be free to use by all members ,so any outstanding memberships should be paid to Sean Gogarty asap.

Social club

The clubrooms will be open as usual this and every Sunday night at 8pm.All welcome to come along.

Lotto

There was no winners of the lotto draw which took place on March 24th.Numbers were 1,12,13,16. There were no match 3 winners either.Next draw takes place 7th April .Jackpot 2,800 euro.Any body wishing to sell a book for lotto, contact any commitee member and this will be arranged.Your help is appreciated.

Gaeltacht
