Names Project
The Louth Field Names Project held a meeting in Naomh Malachi Clubrooms on Thursday 7th March at 8pm.The purpose of this meeting was to gather and record information on Field names in the Shelagh area and surrounding Townlands. This Historical Information is in danger of being lost to future generations.All Landowners ,Farmers and Interested parties who may have useful information on this subject can call 0879263666 for further details .Your help on this matter would be much appreciated ,as your unique knowledge is vital to the success of this project.Detailed maps of the townlands in Shelagh Parish are available by contacting the above number.
Ladies club
Naomh Malachi Ladies Club have a talk on health matters on Wednesday 13th March at 8pm.
This is a week later than we normally meet due to the Parish Mission. All welcome.
The Ladies Club are going for a meal to Ashfield Golf Club Resturant on Wednesday 3rd April at 7.30pm.
Anyone interested in coming along could give their names to one of the commitee before our next meeting on 13th March.

youth club
Drama: Classes continue on Mondays at 6.30pm. The children’s production of ‘Snow White’ will be staged in the Youth Club on Monday the 11th of March at 7pm. Keep this date free in your diary.
Art & Craft Classes: Ages 5 -12Commencing Tues 26th Feb at 6.30pm. Cost €3 per child.
Junior class (ages 5-8) will be taken by Julieann Lawrence.
Senior group(ages 8-12) will be taken by Kerry Mc Ardle.
Note -The 2 groups will run on the same night at the same time. Booking is Essential
Irish DancingClasses continue on Thurs evenings at 6.30pm
Friday Night Club.
Every 2nd Friday night next club will be Frid 8th March
Club will take place 7-9pm for the over 9 age group this Friday night the 22nd of Feb.

Social club: The clubrooms will be open as usual this and every Sunday night at 8pm.All welcome to come along.
Lotto
There was no winners of the lotto draw which took place on February 24th.Well done to the match 3 winner,Patricia Mullen who recieves 100 euro. Numbers were 6,10,14,26.Next draw takes place 10th February. Jackpot 2,600 euro.Any body wishing to sell a book for lotto, contact any commitee member and this will be arranged.Your help is appreciated.
