Glyde Rangers Ladies are having a Juvenile Registration Evening on Tuesday March 5th at 8 o clock in the Glyde Rangers Hall. The club provides Ladies football for girls u10, 12, 14 and 16’s at Juvenile level. New Players are always welcome.


The 6th Monaghan Killanny/Inniskeen Scout Troup will host bingo on the 2nd Friday of the month at 8pm sharp in Killanny Parish Hall (beside St. Enda’s Church). Prize money of €1,000 on the night and lucky dip. Join us on 8th March, 12th April and 10th May 2013.

Tidy Towns


Louth Tidy Towns together will hold their annual fundraising table quiz in the Fairways Hotel Dundalk on Thursday March 7th at 7.30pm sharp. Tables with a maximum of 5 are €50. Raffle on the night and some great spot prizes to be won. Attendance prizes for your nominated Tidy Towns Group are 2 mini sweepers and 2 €200 vouchers for Groundswell. Glyde Rangers GFC

The Glyde Rangers lotto results for Tuesday February 26th are as follows, numbers drawn were 5, 9, 23 and 29. There was no jackpot or match three winners. The two winners of €50 each were Noeleen Burns and Brendan Lynch. Liam Reid was the winner of €20 seller’s prize and Patsy Lennon won the €20 house draw. Next week’s jackpot will be worth €9950 and the draw will be held in Smyth’s. The Committee and players of the Glyde Rangers club wish to express their sincere sympathy to the Grimes Family Rahanna on the recent death of Gerry. May he rest in peace.

Community Games Athletic training

Community Games Athletic training for the parish will recommence on Friday March 8th in the Westerns Pitch from 6pm to 7pm weekly from the age of 6yrs to 15yrs, weather permitting. The training sessions are fully Supervised and Insured by County Louth Community Games Committee members.
