Spring Clean on Saturday April 27th at 10am. Despite First Holy Communion taking place in Tallanstown the on the day, both communities turned out in tremendous numbers to clean the

roads from Tallanstown to Louth via the two roads to Mullacrew. Showing the interest both communities have in keeping their village litter refreshments were served afterwards in Spar

Tallanstown for all who took part.

Following on from Saturday’s successful event on Monday April 29th the residents of the Chapel Road decided to do a spring clean of their road. Such is the interest in keeping their

environment litter free every house on the road was represented, the volunteers cleaned as faras Springhill. Sixteen black bin bags of rubbish were added to the skip which was provided
