Rampart Celtic and St Dominics each gained a point from this midtable clash at Hiney Park.

The Saints will be wondering how they didn;t collect all three points after dominating for most of the 90 minutes.

Rampart can thank their keeper David Lynch for salvaging a point as he made several top notch saves at vital times in the match.

Mark Savage on several occasions lost out ot Lynch in one-on-one duels, but in the 57th minute he was fouled in the box and Stuart Osborne fomr the resultant penalty kick finally beat Lynch, to draw the side’s level.

Conor Neacy had given Rampart a 42nd minute lead, firing an unstoppable shot from a Jason Mulligan cross over Maxi McAllester’s head.

A Darren Woods shot, which rattled the Rampart crossbar was just one of the many chances the Friary side had, to snatch all three points.
