Free scoring Glenmuir fire home another six goals

Glenmuir United continued their recent good goal scoring form this season with another big win last Saturday at home to Ardee Celtic in the U13 Premier Division.

JJ Nwabueze opened the scoring in the 4th minute with a goal from close range and it was soon 2-0 when Josh Todd nipped in behind the Ardee defence to slot home the second goal.

Dylan White was the busiest player on the pitch but the Ardee keeper produced several top class saves as a rampant Glenmuir side went in search of more goals.

Kian Newell scored number three for Glenmuir two minutes before the break.

Ardee goalkeeper White produced save after save but eventually Kian Newell made it 4-0 in the 45th minute.

Ardee got on the score sheet in the 52nd minute when Bobby Butterley slotted home the rebound after Johnny Commins struck the Glenmuir crossbar but it was only a minor setback for Glenmuir and two goals from Obum Onourah completed the rout.
