THE FAI Club of the Year final was held in the Mount Erigal Hotel in Letterkenny last Friday night.

Ardee Celtic were one of eight finalists to make the national final this year and the club are very proud of this recognition.

A delegation from Ardee went to Donegal to give presentations to members of the judging panel about the club and its development, community involvement and vision over its relatively short 20-year life span.

Ardee Celtic’s delegation included Club Committee members Paddy Myles (Chairman), Seamie Walsh (Treasurer), Sean McDonnell (Secretary), Paddy Griffin (Juvenile Secretary), Robert McQuillan (Registrar), Gerry Reynolds (Chief Groundsman), Carol McQuillan (Parents Committee) and Club Mascot Cuchulainn.

The overall winners award was announced at the FAI AGM last weekend and went to deserving winners Middelton FC from Co Cork.

Ardee Celtic were delighted to make the final eight and the delegation had a great experience at the FAI’s Festival of Football week. Thanks for everybodies support!
