Rock Celtic did create the better chances in the first half, Kevin Campbell was denied by a superb save from Glenmuir ‘keeper Caolan McCabe on 17 minutes but the Glenmuir number one had no chance minutes later with an absolute stunner from Declan Curtain.

Picking up possession 25 yards out, he shifted the ball into his stride before unleashing a fierce shot low into the corner of the net.

Paul O’Grady just managed to tip the ball around the post from Liam McStravick’s effort. Glenmuir stepped up a gear in the second half but often their attacks were dealt with by some strong defending.

Glenmuir’s best chance was in the 51st minute O’Grady produced a point blank save from Ebuka Kwelele, the rebound fell perfectly to Kian Newell but Conor Soraghan somehow managed to clear the ball to safety.
