Dundalk and NEC U14s played out an entertaining friendly game at the all weather pitch in Muirhevnamor on Sunday evening in preparation for the Kennedy Cup competition in Limerick in June.

The Meath outfit doubled their advantage midway through the second half to go 0-2 ahead but Aidan Curtain scored for Dundalk to make it 1-2.
Knowles was denied by a fine save in the closing stages.
