Two Ryan Duffy goals in the first 12 minutes was enough to give Bellurgan all three points against Woodview on Sunday morning and continue their unbeaten run in the U14 First Division.

Duffy headed into the top corner on eight minutes when he got on the end of Connor Keenan’s accurate corner kick and four minutes later the unmarked Duffy was in the right place to head home his second goal from a Colm Farrell cross.

Morgan Evans was unlucky not to score for Woodview with an effort from long range in the 20th minute and a David Zigic free kick flashed inches wide of the post in the second half but Bellurgan should have extended their lead when Brendan O’Hagan crashed a shot off the Woodview post.
