A stunning last minute winner by Ben Walsh gave Woodview all three points over Muirhevnamor in this local U13 derby game on Saturday morning at the DKIT grounds.

Muirhevnamor are still top of the table but have now lost their unbeaten tag and they took the lead in the seventh minute when Oisin Morrow volleyed home from inside the box and they added to their advantage early in the second half with a close range finish by Moyo Badun and at 0-2 the game looked over.

The home side wouldn’t lie down and fought back, Ben Walsh came close in the 52nd when he smashed the ball off the bottom of the post and soon after the deficit was reduced to one when the same Woodview player burst through the Muirhevnamor defence and slotted home to make it 1-2.

Five minutes later it was 2-2 when Reece McFaul headed in Craig Callan’s corner.

In the final minute, Ben Walsh’s wonder strike landed in the top corner of the Muirhevnamor net in the last minute of the game.
