Another award for DFC Magazine

There was some good news for Dundalk FC over the weekend when it was announced that the DFC Magazine was awarded Irish Programme of the Year at the Irish Programme Fair in Dublin. Shamrock Rovers were runners-up with Sligo Rovers in third place.

There was some good news for Dundalk FC over the weekend when it was announced that the DFC Magazine was awarded Irish Programme of the Year at the Irish Programme Fair in Dublin. Shamrock Rovers were runners-up with Sligo Rovers in third place.

In a short message on the club’s website, DFC Magazine’s Colm Murphy and David Farrelly expressed their gratitude to those who helped the programme in any manner.

“The club programme is produced and funded by the DFC Trust. We would like to thank all the Dundalk supporters (and visiting supporters) who regularly purchase a copy of the programme on match night.

“Many thanks to Keith Wallace, Jim Murphy and Sean DeLoughrey for their regular contributions. We would also like to thank Sportsfile, Nigel Caldwell, David Caldwell and Mick Slevin for photographs that have appeared in the programme over the past year. Also, thanks to Brian Hanrahan, Roy Mackin and anybody else who helps with the selling of the programme throughout the year”

The programme - and website - will hopefully benefit from the input of a number of new contributors over the coming weeks following the retirement of Keith Wallace from his role as Media Officer at the club.

“Declining attendances are having an impact on our sales – so please make an effort to keep the programme a viable project for the DFC Trust to continue”.
