A VERY well attended AGM saw the committee re-elected en bloc, namely – Chairman: Alan McComish; Vice Chairman: Robbie Rafferty; Secretary and Treasurer: Gus Hearty; Committee: Joe Mellon and Brendan Scollon.

A very lively debate followed the Chairman’s report and the financial report from the Treasurer, which showed the league to be in a healthy state. A minute’s silence was observed by all before the proceedings took place in memory of all past players and officials. In all, 14 clubs will contest this year’s competitions: Doolargy All Stars, Bay United, Boyne Valley, Muirhevnamor, Muirhevna Celtic, St Dominic’s, Shamrocks, Shamrock Youths, Rangers, Redeemer Celtic, Redeemer United, Rampart Celtic, Seatown and newcomers Dundalk International. The composition of the league format will be drawn up at a follow up meeting on Wednesday March 20 in Oriel Park at 8pm.
