Foley tops the table at Dundalk Stadium

Shane Foley scooped the Leading Jockey Award even though he was suspended, his 25 wins still managed to hold the top position. Niamh Murphy, General Manager of the Crowne Plaza Dundalk presented the perpetual trophy to the jockey.

Foley was then presented with a cheque by Jim Martin, CEO Dundalk Stadium for a charitable donation of €1500 to his preferred charity which was the JT McNamara Fund.

Michael Halford gained the lead in the Leading Trainer award from Eddie Lynam after another two wins on Friday.

Again, Niamh Murphy, General Manager of the Crowne Plaza Dundalk presented the perpetual trophy to the trainer. His preferred charity was KARE, Jim Martin CEO Dundalk Stadium presented him with the charitable donation.

The Winter Series Horse racing returns to Dundalk Stadium on Friday January 3 followed by eight greyhound races. Greyhound racing continues as normal on Saturday January 4 also.

The Leading Greyhound Owner and Trainer will be presented their respective trophies on Friday January 3.
