The Pageant will take place on Bank Holiday Monday June 4th and promises to be a great day for both parents and children
The Dundalk and Monaghan Democrat in association with the Marshes Shopping Centre Dundalk are launching the Little Miss and Master Louth and Monaghan 2012 Pageant. The ethos for this pageant is to encourage confidence and give our children positive reinforcement. Children are unique and special and every child who participates will be awarded a medal for courage and confidence.
The pageant has three different categories, Photogenic, the traditional Bonny Baby category, Personality and Talent, and will embrace and cherish the innocence of our children with a “School Around the Corner” section,
giving each child the opportunity to gain and demonstrate confidence in public speaking. It is equally important to recognise children’s natural talents such as singing, dancing, story telling and the event will do so in the “Talent category”.
The Bonny Baby/ Photogenic category will be based on photos taken by our pageant photographer prior to the event.
For babies and toddlers 0 -2 years, parents will be invited to bring children on stage for judges to see.
The personality / School around the corner section for each child will last approx 45 seconds. Each child will have approx 1 minute for the Talent category.
