THE Wee County Vintage Club will hold its annual vintage day next Sunday 28 August at Sloan’s Farm Dunleer.
It will include World War Two re-enactments, dog show, pig racing, vintage vehicles, tractor ploughing, arts and crafts, a magician show and much more. Proceeds will be in aid of the Alzheimer Day Care centres in Drogheda and Dundalk. Entry fee 10 euro. Exhibitors to contact Jack: 087-1391021.
Meanwhile, John and Betty Anderson from Reaghstown are holding a vintage rally on Sunday 25 September. It will take place in a field near the Wild Goose Lodge. All proceeds from this wonderful event will go towards providing a defibrillator for Aclint Hall. The family came up with the idea as the hall is used on a regular basis by a large number of the community. Tickets 5 euro, from John and Betty Anderson or any members of the Anderson family.
